Public Reports

Student Outcomes

WNCC measures a variety of student outcomes including retention rates, graduation rates, transfer-out rates, outcome measures, student learning outcomes, licensure and certification pass rates, and student employment outcomes.

CDS

The Common Data Set (CDS) is a product of the Common Data Set Initiative that started as a collaborative effort among several data providers and publishers in the higher education community. The CDS is a set of standards and definitions of data items to improve the comparability of data reported across institutions and reduce the reporting burden on data providers. The Common Data Set allows colleges and universities to share a concise, yet extensive, set of information with guidebook publishers, higher education writers, and the interested public. The CDS provides answers to many frequently asked questions at WNCC.

VFA Reports

The Voluntary Framework of Accountability (VFA) is the accountability framework specifically designed for community colleges with measures developed to fully capture the community college mission and philosophy, as well as the myriad of community college students’ goals, expectations, and educational experiences. The VFA provides community colleges with a significantly improved ability to assess their performance, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate their commitment to their academic mission.

IPEDS Data Feedback Reports

The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a system of survey components that collects institution-level data on student enrollment, graduation rates, student charges, program completions, faculty, staff, and finances from higher education institutions across the United States. The IPEDS Data Feedback Reports are intended to provide WNCC a context for examining the data they submitted to IPEDS and selected indicators to compare with a group of similar institutions.
