Follow this checklist to get on your way, so you can start here!

First-Time Freshmen

  1. Research WNCC and its academic programs
  2. Visit campus
  3. Apply for admission
  4. Apply for scholarships
  5. Complete the housing contract (if applicable)
  6. Send your official high school or GED transcript
  7. Send your ACT/SAT score or complete the eCompass test
  8. Complete the FAFSA (WNCC Code: 002560)
  9. Buy your books
  10. Register for the Nelnet payment plan
  11. Attend new student orientation

Nontraditional Students (Out of high school or college for more than five years)

  1. Research WNCC and its academic programs
  2. Visit campus
  3. Apply for admission

  7. Apply for scholarships
