Technical Studies

 
Program Overview
This program is designed for someone needing a wide-variety of skills for job enrichment or employment. Working in close consultation with their academic advisor, students can design a program of study to meet their individual needs. A minimum of 60 hours is required to earn the Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) degree. All students pursuing this major must complete 18-20 of required general education credits and four (4) core credits in technical studies. The remaining 36-38 credits must be completed in at least two (2) but no more than four (4) skill areas as described below. All electives used to fulfill graduation requirements for this AOS must be pre-approved by the faculty advisor.
