Visit the Online Student Registration Checklist

Register online through your MyWNCC Portal if you are a returning student, or contact one of our centers to register for classes. Identify yourself as an online student. If you are a new student, please visit the online student registration checklist.

  Step 1:   Visit "Setting Up Your Computer for WebCT"

--your computer will need to have some special settings to work properly in your online course room.

 Step 2:   Test your browser settings for WebCT 6. Click CHECK BROWSER


 Step 3:   Learn your WNCC User Name and Password at the online "Account Desk" in MyWNCC


 Step 4:   Check your WNCC.net WebMail

Why? WNCC Online students automatically receive messages at WNCC.net -- the account is automatically created to receive messages from the instructor before classes begin.

  Step 5:   Learn how to log in to WebCT to access your online course.

Plan to log in on the first day of the semester!

If you receive an "Access Denied" message, it means you ARE in the course, but the instructor hasn't yet opened access. Try again later.

 Step 6:   IMPORTANT: Check your computer skills here to be sure you are ready for the online environment!

If you do not feel comfortable with any of these tasks, it is highly recommended that you complete an onsite Microcomputer Applications course or a basic computing skills training before attempting to go online.

WNCC Library Services
Library services are available to online students. Check with your instructor for details.

Cougar Bookstore
Students from outside the area can contact the bookstore to purchase books by phone, or they will soon be able to purchase them online through our Campus Hub.

Software Downloads
Links to software that might be needed for your online course. Please be certain you are running an antivirus program and a anti-spyware utility on your computer before beginning online courses!

Business Office - Tuition & Payment Information
WNCC online courses follow the same tuition schedule as on site offerings.

Financial Aid
WNCC online students can receive advice and assistance from Financial Aid staff from a distance!

WebCT Log In Page
WNCC online courses are offered through the WebCT Learning Management System. Instructors deliver course notes, lectures, discussions, tests and exams to students from around the globe!

Computer Lab Information
WNCC online students can use the computer labs in Scottsbluff, Sidney or Alliance.
