Emergency Medical Technician/Emergency Medical Responder Adjunct Instructor - Scottsbluff Campus with possible travel to clinical sites

Western Nebraska Community College is accepting applications for an Emergency Medical Technician/Emergency Medical Responder Adjunct Instructor for the Scottsbluff Campus.

Teach students in Emergency Medical Technology in the classroom, face-to-face, online, and in the laboratory and clinical settings.  Aid in the development of the course(s) while implementing the course syllabus according to the program curriculum and WNCC policies in cooperation with other faculty.  Responsible for directing, evaluating, and reporting student progress toward course objectives and for the periodic review and updating of course material. Ideal candidates will be content experts willing to become active, involved team members who provide superior instruction, assesses student learning effectively, and ensure safe practice at various regional health-care facilities.  Some evening and weekend scheduling may be required.

Must possess an Emergency Medical Technician certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and be able to obtain a State of Nebraska EMT and Educator’s license within 6 months. Must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree and a total of two years of on-ambulance experience. Previous educational/field training officer experience preferred.
