WNCC Retention Rates

Retention data are reported as of the Institution's official Fall and Spring reporting dates and include first-time degree/certificate-seeking students enrolled in credit classes in a Fall semester who enroll in at least one credit class the subsequent Spring or Fall semester. Students who left the institution for any of the following reasons: died or were totally and permanently disabled; to serve in the armed forces (including those called to active duty); to serve with a foreign aid service of the Federal Government (e.g. Peace Corps); or to serve on official church missions are excluded from the counts. WNCC Student Right-to-Know Graduation/Transfer-Out Rates

Title I, Section 103 of the "Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act" (P.L. 101-542), which was passed by Congress November 9, 1990 requires institutions eligible for Title IV funding to disclose completion or graduation rates of certificate- or degree-seeking, full-time students entering that institution to all current and prospective students. Further, Section 104 of the Act requires each institution that participates in any Title IV program and is attended by students receiving athletically-related student aid to display graduation/completion rates of students receiving athletically-related student aid, and the average completion or graduation rate for the four most recent years. WNCC Student Learning Outcomes

WNCC has identified a set of institutional general education competencies students are expected to acquire as a part of their overall learning experience. WNCC has also established skills and competencies specific to predetermined program learning outcomes that students should achieve. These indicators, while difficult to measure due to the variety of potential individual student outcomes, demonstrate student attainment of the general institutional as well as program level proficiencies. WNCC Licensure & Certification Pass Rates

Many occupations, especially in career/technical fields, require licensure or certification for employment or practice. Therefore, measuring the success of students who seek industry licensure or certification for the first time within a given year, and actually obtain licensure or certification at first attempt is a critical indicator of success in developing a qualified workforce. WNCC Student Graduation Outcomes

WNCC Graduate Survey is an institutionally-developed survey to understand student graduation outcomes related to their future employment and/or educational plans post-graduation. The survey is administered by the Registrar’s Office to all students who have applied for graduation during Fall, Spring, or Summer semester. The data are then analyzed by the Dean of Students. The survey provides WNCC with the information about the future plans of all graduates and alumni. The results of the survey are used by the Institution for Key Performance Indicators.
