Early Admission Scholarship


The Early Admission Scholarship is awarded students who have excelled academically at the high school or GED level. This scholarship will be awarded for two consecutive years. A student must maintain a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA and complete 70% of the credits attempted during the first year to be eligible for the second year award. The scholarship is divided equally between the two semesters each year.

You must do the following to be eligible:

  • Be a United States citizen.
  • Complete and submit the WNCC Admissions Application. There is no application fee.
  • Current high school and GED students who meet the criteria below should submit a transcript at the time of application.
  • Plan to enroll in twelve or more credit hours each semester.
  • Complete the WNCC Scholarship Application for all other scholarships. (This is included in the online admission application.)

Deadline to apply:

  • Fall semester - March 1
  • Spring semester - November 15
