Tina Dueker was recently named Alumni Relations at Western Nebraska Community College. The College welcomes Dueker into this vital position for developing engagement and connectedness among the nearly 200,000 alumni of Western Nebraska Community College and its predecessor institutions.
Dueker comes to WNCC from the private sector. Prior to moving to the panhandle, she was a marketing officer at First National Bank in Ames, Iowa, where her duties included product campaigns, internal and public relations, and event planning. Previous to that, Tina worked in the alumni relations office at the University of Minnesota.
"I'm excited to be able to capitalize on my background in alumni relations and marketing to engage WNCC alumni, generate their enthusiasm, and encourage them to reconnect with the College," says Dueker. "I also am a big proponent for accessible and affordable higher education, so this position is tailor made for me and I'm looking forward to helping advocate for and advance the great initiatives that are taking place at WNCC."
