A groundbreaking ceremony for two student housing structures will take place at the Western Nebraska Community College Sidney campus on Wednesday, April 16 at 3:00 p.m.
Local dignitaries will attend, and the WNCC Board of Governors unanimously supports the construction of these new campus-housing units.
According to Sidney Campus Director Paula Abbott, the new structures will house up to 24 students to help alleviate a housing shortage in the Sidney area. "We have the full commitment of the college to support continued growth in Cheyenne County," says Abbott. Housing construction is scheduled for completion in time for the Fall 2014 semester.
WNCC invites the public to attend this groundbreaking ceremony. For more information, contact Sidney Campus Student Services Coordinator Jeffrey Summitt at 308.254.7441.
