Western Nebraska Community College, in partnership with PrestoSports, is proud to unveil a redesigned athletics website. The new site can be found at wnccathletics.com and will serve as the home for all news, information, scores, and schedules for all seven WNCC athletic teams.
In addition to the website, WNCC Athletics also has a mobile app available on Android and Apple mobile devices. Simply search "WNCC Cougars Front Row."
"We're really excited to launch a total redesign of our website," says WNCC Athletic Director Ryan Burgner. "The new site provides a dynamic platform for showcasing all of our teams and an improved, user-friendly navigation."
The new website will provide fans, parents, alumni, and media with access to game stories, press releases, live video, and photos. Working with PrestoSports and through the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), the site will provide instant scores and standings as well as live updates from other Region IX sporting events. The new site is not only tied into the Region IX website that PrestoSports houses, but also to the NJCAA.
PrestoSports Vice President Ted Bardach is also excited for WNCC's athletic website. "PrestoSports is thrilled to be working with Western Nebraska Community College," Bardach said. "It's an exciting time for WNCC, and it has been a pleasure working with Sports Coordinator Mark Rein launching the new online home for Cougar Athletics. The fully-responsive wnccathletics.com has everything fans want and student-athletes need. We are excited to see WNCC take advantage of our network capabilities through the NJCAA."
Started in 2003, PrestoSports is home to nearly 500 college athletic and conference websites. PrestoSports' mission is to help sports teams thrive in the digital world by managing their websites, mobile apps, camps, statistics, and video, and to share sports information with their opponents and affiliates in real time.
The launch of the new website comes just as the Cougar's 2015-2016 fall season gets underway as volleyball practice begins today, and the men's and women's soccer teams open practice Tuesday, August 4.
