WNCC to Induct over 30 Students into National Honor Society

WNCC

The Lambda Phi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Western Nebraska Community College is holding an induction ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 7:00 p.m. in Pioneer Hall, located on the Scottsbluff Campus.

Phi Theta Kappa is the national honorary scholastic society for community colleges. The Lambda Pi Chapter includes students whose cumulative GPA is 3.5 or higher, and has shown the ability to uphold WNCC's code of conduct. Over 30 students will be inducted into this elite society, which promotes four hallmarks in its involvement with the College and community: scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony, and are encouraged to stay afterwards to enjoy refreshments.
