Western Nebraska Community College Theatre presents Boeing Boeing March 4-6 at the
WNCC Little Theatre on the Scottsbluff Campus.
Boeing Boeing is a classic farce written by French playwright Marc Camoletti. It's
set in the 1960s, and swinging bachelor Bernard couldn't be happier: a flat in Paris
and three gorgeous stewardesses all engaged to him without knowing about each other.
However, Bernard's perfect life gets bumpy when his friend Robert comes to stay, and
a new speedier Boeing jet throws off all of his careful planning. Soon all three stewardesses
are in town simultaneously, and timid Robert is forgetting which lies to tell to whom,
and catastrophe looms.
"The play is a rocking good time," WNCC Theatre Director Robert Thompson Jr. said."The
speed and dexterity provided by the cast is delicious as they scramble from one absurd
situation to the next. The night heats up as the three sizzling stewardesses prove
too hot to handle. The heat of this play is sure to melt through any wintertime chill.
This is definitely a play that will help us all release the stress of our daily grind,
and remind us how much warmth laughter can bring to our hearts."
Included in the cast are Marisa Plummer, Brandelynn Mendoza, Rachel Karpen, Nick McDaniel,
Josh Harnish, and Lisa Betz-Marquez.
Boeing Boeing will play March 4 and March 5 at 7:30 p.m. and on March 6 at 2 p.m.
in the WNCC Little Theatre. Tickets are $5 for general seating and are available for
purchase at the WNCC Little Theatre box office one hour prior to the performance.
Tickets are free for WNCC students, faculty, and staff.
