The Western Nebraska Community College Scottsbluff Campus hosted around 100 area high school students Monday for Discover WNCC.

Discover WNCC, the College's largest recruitment event of the year, invites high school juniors and seniors from around the area to learn more about WNCC, the processes of applying to college, and what students could expect from attending WNCC.

"We had a really great turnout for Discover WNCC," said WNCC Admissions Director Gretchen Foster. "Particularly, these prospective students really seemed to appreciate the Explore WNCC Fair, which gave them an opportunity to speak with faculty or staff in their desired program of study or learn how they could be involved on campus."

While on campus, those students met one-on-one with a financial aid associate, toured campus, spoke with current faculty and students, and learned about all of WNCC's student organizations and services.
