Western Nebraska Community College student Miguel Lara of Scottsbluff was recently
named the recipient of the New Car & Truck Dealer's Association scholarship worth
$1,000.
Qualifications for the scholarship include a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, pursuing
an associate degree, enrolled full-time in a program, and the major course of study
in Automotive Technology or Auto Body Technology.
Lara, who also works full time at Riverside Discovery Center, plans to graduate from
WNCC in May with an Associate of Science degree in Automotive Technology.
