WNCC to Host Cheyenne County Public Listening Session - POSTPONED

WNCC

Due to anticipated poor weather conditions on March 9, WNCC is postponing the Cheyenne County listening tour to Thursday, March 17.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - Western Nebraska Community College Interim President John Marrin is leading a series of public listening sessions this spring. WNCC will visit all 13 counties in its service area, which consists of the Nebraska Panhandle.

Sidney will be the destination for the Cheyenne County session, scheduled for Wednesday, March 9 from 1-2:30 p.m. on the WNCC Sidney Campus. All interested members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend.

"We want to hear from as many people as possible," said Marrin. "We are in the process of building our next strategic plan that will bring together WNCC's vision to positively impact the education and well-being of every student, employer, and community member in the Panhandle."

The session will feature a brief presentation and extensive time for question-and-answer exchange. Refreshments will be provided.

Additional sessions have been scheduled for Sheridan County (Rushville) on March 23; Dawes County (Chadron) on March 30; and Scotts Bluff County (Gering) on April 27. Remaining counties are currently being scheduled.
