Due to poor weather conditions on Feb. 2, WNCC is postponing the Deuel County listening tour to a later date.
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - Western Nebraska Community College Interim President John Marrin will lead a series of public listening tours this spring, with the first being hosted in Deuel County on Feb. 2.
WNCC will visit all 12 counties in its service area, which consists of the Nebraska Panhandle. Each session will feature a brief presentation and extensive time for question-and-answer exchange.
"We want to hear from as many people as possible," said Marrin. "We are in the process of building our next strategic plan that will bring together WNCC's vision to positively impact the education and well-being of every student, employer, and community member in the Panhandle."
The first session will be hosted in Chappell at the The Buckley Trust Conference Room, 749 2nd Street, from 1:30-3 p.m. All interested members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
