
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - Western Nebraska Community College Interim President John Marrin is leading a series of public listening sessions this spring. WNCC will visit all 13 counties in its service area, which consists of the Nebraska Panhandle.
The listening session in Dawes County is scheduled for Wednesday, March 30 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Bean Broker Coffee House and Pub in Chadron. All interested members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend.
"We want to hear from as many people as possible," said Marrin. "We are in the process of building our next strategic plan that will bring together WNCC's vision to positively impact the education and well-being of every student, employer, and community member in the Panhandle."
The session will feature a brief presentation and extensive time for question-and-answer exchange. Refreshments will be provided.
Additional sessions have been scheduled for Scotts Bluff County (Gering) on April 27; Deuel County (Chappell) on May 4; Garden County (Lewellen) on May 11; and Kimball County (Kimball) on May 25. Remaining counties are currently being scheduled.
